Hi, I'm Avery!

I'm 11 years old, and I love two things more than almost anything else: science and reading.

I started Shelf Science because I wanted every kid to be able to do real science without needing a fancy lab. If you have a shelf, a drawer, or a kitchen, you already have what you need to discover something amazing.

“You don't need a lab to be a scientist. You just need curiosity and whatever's on your shelf!”
